Over The Rainbow

Loading

This version of 'Over the Rainbow' is by Iz (Israel Kamakawiwoʻole) from Hawaii.

It's a very popular song and has been performed by many different artists but I think my two favourites are by Iz and the original version by Judy Garland.

This song comes from the fabulous film which starred Judy Garland in 1939. Definately it is a film to look out for and see it if you can - a wonderful legend from English Culture. It has also opened in London as a stage musical by none other than Andrew Lloyd Webber!

Ooo oooooo oooooo oooo ooo ooo ooo

Ooooo oooooo oooooo

Ooo ooo ooo

Ooo ooo ooo

Ooo ooo ooo

Somewhere, over the rainbow, way up high,

And the dreams that you dreamed of,

Once in a lullaby.

Oh, somewhere over the rainbow,

Blue birds fly,

And the dreams that you dream of,

Dreams really do come true.

Someday, I'll wish upon a star,

Wake up where the clouds are far behind me.

Where trouble melts like lemon drops,

High above the chimney top,

That's where you'll find me.

Oh, somewhere, over the rainbow, bluebirds fly,

And the dreams that you dare to.

Oh why, oh why can't I?

Someday, I'll wish upon a star,

Wake up where the clouds are far behind me.

Where trouble melts like lemon drops,

High above the chimney top,

That's where you'll find me.

Oh, somewhere, over the rainbow, way up high.

And the dreams that you dare to,

Why, oh why can't I?

Ooooo oooooo oooooo

Ooooo oooooo oooooo

Ooo Oooo Ooooh

ah, ah, ah... eh ah ah, eh ah ah ah ah...
