The 'r' sound is one that some native English speaking children take a while to learn and you can sometimes hear a young child say 'awound' instead of around or bwuver instead of brother.

All you need to do to make the 'R' sound is curl the tip of the tongue but do not let it touch the top of your mouth.

The 'r' letter actually gives you a clue to the shape your tongue must make to form this sound.

Difficult? Not at all. But English is very expressive and you have to move your mouth and tongue a great deal to form all the different words.
